Grafana continues to lead the way
Torkel Ödegaard started working on Grafana as a side project in late December 2013. It quickly became a leading tool for dashboards and visualizations, and more than 20 million users rely on the open source project today. In the decade since Torkel’s initial code commit, Grafana Labs has also developed the LGTM Stack, which pairs Grafana with scalable backends for logs, metrics, and traces.
