It’s been three months since we released Directus+, our premium companion subscription for developers building with Directus. This subscription includes access to powerful starter kits designed to help you ship projects faster and advanced workshops exclusive to members.
The First Three Months
We’ve released a total of 7 starter kits for various use cases:
- Learning Management System: Build custom courseware with ease.
- PIM System: Manage all your product data and catalogs efficiently.
- Multi-Tenant SaaS Application Backend: Set up a scalable backend for your SaaS applications.
- Video Streaming Platform: Similar to Directus TV, for streaming video content.
- Status Page: Keep users informed of any incidents or downtime.
- Onboarding Checklist Application: Perfect for managing new employees or onboarding new clients.
- AI Content Machine: Our newest starter kit that works with Directus AI extensions to streamline your content workflow. Generate ideas from notes and recordings, create first drafts with a click of a button, and automatically translate content to multiple languages.
Members have also enjoyed the following live workshops:
- Minimum Viable Billing: We used Directus Flows to accept payments for online products via Stripe.
- Database to Data Engine: We transformed a lonely SQL database, providing non-technical team members with REST APIs, dashboards, and automated workflows.
New Starter Kit: Virtual Event Registration Platform
Dropping this week, this new starter kit is inspired by our own Leap Week site. It eliminates the need to string together multiple services to run online events. This starter kit is the first to include a frontend already connected to the Directus backend, enabling you to ship even faster. Features include:
- Registration and ticketing
- Personalized social images
- Referral tracking system
New Directus+ Team Plan
For teams, we’ve created an easier way to share the value that Directus+ offers—access to starter kits, training, and private Discord community channels.
The team plan is priced at $599 per year, including up to 20 developers, providing significant savings over individual plans.
This plan will roll out over the next few weeks.
Promotional Pricing Ending Soon
The introductory period and promotional pricing of $99 for the year will be available for just two more weeks. On July 1 2024, the cost of an individual plan will increase to $299 annually.
As we’ve built and released more, and firmed up the offering, this feels like the right moment to launch Directus+ fully.
