Step-by-Step Guide to Saving Emails and Attachments

To initiate the process, open Make.com and create a new Scenario. The first module to select is Gmail, with the event set to “Watch Emails”. Fill in the necessary information as per the configuration panel, selecting “Gmail filter” for the “Filter type” and “has:attachment” for the query. This step is designed to find emails with attachments.

Next, create the second module, again selecting Gmail, but this time choosing “Iterate Attachments” for the event. The Source module should be the first Gmail module.

Then create the third module, selecting Google Drive, with the event set to “upload a file”. Choose the location for the file upload. This step allows for the automatic backup of received email attachments on Google Drive, facilitating efficient management.

Link your AITable.ai account, select the corresponding space and datasheet, and fill in the information variables from Gmail into the corresponding fields. For the URL field, select the “web view link” variable from Google Drive to store the link to the backed-up attachment.
